Walk pain-free again — minimally invasive, in-office, board-certified
Most patients are surprised by how quickly they return to normal life. Here is week by week what to expect — and what we expect of you.
Walking immediately. Elevate when seated. Mild swelling, controlled with ice and over-the-counter pain relief.
In-office check. Dressing change, incision inspection, X-ray to confirm position.
Office workers typically return at day 5–7. Continue surgical sandal full-time.
Transition into a roomy athletic sneaker. Begin gentle range-of-motion exercises.
Cleared for running, dance, hiking, and most exercise. Return to dress shoes typically by week 8.
For the first 72 hours, ice the foot in 20-minute intervals. Do not apply ice directly to skin.
When seated or sleeping for the first week, prop the foot on pillows so it is higher than your heart.
Plenty of water and a balanced diet supports healing. Avoid excessive salt and alcohol the first week.
Short walks every hour or two prevent stiffness and promote circulation.
The day-3 and week-2 visits are short but important. We catch problems early so they stay small.
Increased pain, redness, fever, or unusual drainage — call us. Most concerns are nothing.
You'll meet Dr. Groysman, see your foot on his screen, and walk out with a clear answer about whether you need surgery, when, and what it'll cost. No pressure, no follow-up sales calls — that's not how we work.
Most new patients get on the calendar within 3 business days.
We run your benefits before you arrive so the conversation is real.
